After a very difficult time, we have managed to find another person to help Rob paint. Her name is Tineke, and we are very excited for her to begin this week. She is an artist and has a good background in coaching and we think she will help Rob bring out his potential in a caring and creative way.

We decided to make a new start of it completely, and cleared out the “blue room” that Rob can use as his “atelier” just for painting. We wanted to make it so he can get paint everywhere, and not have to worry about anything.

There is also pretty good light, and it’s nice and warm until he can paint outside again.We even have some extra shelf space for paintings to dry, and a wall he can hang them on. Other than still needing to find a piece of linoleum for the floor, I think we are ready for him to start again. If need be, we’ll bust down a wall into another small room to make it bigger, but it’s a good start.

And many thanks to Shannon and Tom who moved some heavy matress’ for me so I could make room for everything.

We don’t know what the future holds, but we are glad he is going to be able to keep on going with his passion for painting…
