I’m going to be adding to this post when I get time, but wanted to get it started.

- Bureau voor Medicinale Cannabis (OMC) is the Dutch government agency responsible for overseeing the production of cannabis for medicinal and scientific purposes. The OMC has a monopoly on supplying medicinal cannabis to pharmacies, and on its import and export. The quality of the medicinal cannabis is guaranteed by a constant supervision of the grower and the distributor.

Research Epilepsy/seizure
The use in epilepsy is among its historically oldest indications of cannabis. Animal experiments provide evidence of the antiepileptic effects of some cannabinoids. The anticonvulsant activity of phenytoin and diazepam have been potentiated by THC. According to a few case reports from the 20th century, some epileptic patients continue to utililize cannabis to control an otherwise unmanageable seizure disorder. Cannabis use may occasionally precipitate convulsions.

Seeds and Growing
Sensi Seeds And Medicinal Cannabi
Cannabidiol CBD)
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 85 active cannabinoids identified in cannabis. It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract CBD is considered to have a wider scope of medical applications than tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Almirall S.A. is GW’s partner in Europe and therefore any enquiries relating to Sativex® from medical professionals in Europe should be directed to Almirall using their website.
What GW does is grow high quality cannabis under pretty much the same conditions as most illegal growers. It uses clonal propagation to ensure consistent levels of cannabinoids. Lighting and hydroponic nutrition is computer controlled with automatic ventilation. It really is no different from the most sophisticated and efficient illegal cannabis farms. It’s a recognised and proven technology now also used by Bedrocan in Holland, the Dutch government’s exclusive medicinal cannabis grower.
