Ingredients
- 400 gram powdered milk (1 can of TwoCows)
- 250 gram powdered sugar ( 1 container Van Gilse)
- 125-150 gram Dutch-processed cocoa (about 1/2 a box of Blooker cacao)
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons corn starch
- Optional: 25ml – 50ml dark or spiced rum.
- Optional: To make it like the Aztecs, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Optional: You can also add finely chopped dark chocolate.
- Optional: for the kids, add mini marshmallows.
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a large bowl and using a wire whisk to combine.
- Store in an air-tight container. it will keep for many months.
- When ready to use, add 2 to 3 tablespoons of hot cocoa mix to 350 ml of boiling water. Add more mix to taste. Stir well to combine.
- If using, add dark or spiced rum, cayenne pepper, finely chopped dark chocolate and mini marshmallows.
Make 1400 ml in total.
